Jamie Tedford, Chief Executive Officer
Jamie Tedford is an entrepreneur, CEO and founder of Brand Networks, designing social marketing solutions for some of the world’s best-known brands. Prior to founding Brand Networks in 2007, Jamie was SVP, Marketing and Media Innovation at Arnold Worldwide, a top ten US brand advertising agency. Recognized as a pioneer in the growing “Word of Mouth” industry, Jamie launched the WOM division at Arnold and is a founding board member of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association. Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug early on, Jamie began his career at Boston-based youth marketing leader Collegiate Advantage until its acquisition by Student Advantage. As a senior manager at the IPO-bound Student Advantage, Jamie became an established and credible expert in the youth market, helping clients such as Coca-Cola, AT&T, and Nike to market effectively to teens and young adults. Jamie is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, and resides in Marblehead, MA with his wife Meredith and their three children.
Paul Falzone, President
Paul is the president of Brand Networks and a member of the Board of Directors. He focuses on the company’s sales and marketing efforts, client services, M&A and global expansion. His background in helping Fortune 500 customers leverage digital marketing and international markets contributes to the company’s overall vision. Prior to Brand Networks, he was president of SDI Media Group, the market leading language localization company with operations in 30 countries. Backed by Warburg Pincus, he helped lead the company to $150 million in sales and sold it to Elevation Partners. Prior to SDI, he was president of MediaMix Marketing, a Los Angeles-based digital marketing and licensing firm. Paul graduated with Honors from Northwestern University.
Mike Garsin, Chief Technology Officer
Mike Garsin is the chief technology officer and co-founder of Brand Networks. An entrepreneur and lifelong hacker, Mike is an expert in developing scalable and innovative social and mobile software solutions and leads our technology development efforts. Formerly an IT Manager and Business Intelligence Architect at the University of Rochester, Mike’s first entrepreneurial venture began while he was still in his undergraduate studies. A founding partner of Island Media Group, he helped secure the capital for IMG’s first acquisition, Overseas Jobs Express. As acting CIO, he led the effort to establish a new web identity for the company eventually turning it into a one-stop shop for any activity related to international job search. Mike is a graduate of the University of Rochester and resides in Rochester, NY with his wife Jennifer and their two children.
Ed Davis, Chief Operating Officer
Ed Davis is the Chief Operating Officer at Brand Networks and a member of the board of directors. He is responsible for financial operations, resource management, and the operational efficiency of the company. Prior to Brand Networks, Ed was the Chief Operating Officer at Federal Street Advisors, Inc. an independent investment consulting firm and the Chief Financial Officer at Arnold Worldwide, at top 10 US brand advertising agency. Ed is an expert at process innovation, financial operations and leading operational excellence. He is a proud graduate of Boston University.
Rob Leathern, Chief Product Officer
Rob is the Chief Product Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of BN. He cofounded Optimal and served as Optimal's CEO until the acquisition by BN in 2013. Rob previously held senior management, business development and marketing positions with Consorte Media, NexTag and Root Markets. He was the first director of marketing at LinkedIn, and then started the advertising team there. Prior to these roles, Rob spent four and a half years as a senior market research analyst at Jupiter Research and Nielsen NetRatings, covering ecommerce, payments and online retail, and two years on Wall Street. He holds the CFA designation and is a proud graduate of Dartmouth College (Computer Science and Economics) and Pretoria Boys High School (South Africa). Widely recognized as an advertising, data and social media expert, his commentary is frequently sought by media outlets like NPR, CNBC, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, AdWeek, AdAge, Adexchanger, Bloomberg, BusinessInsider and Forbes.
