Brand Networks Honored With Facebook 2015 Innovation Award
Company’s Collision Management Tool Recognized for Excellence in Innovation; Represents Unique Approach to Preventing Ad Exposure to Overlapping Audiences
BOSTON, MA.— July 7, 2015 — Brand Networks, the leading provider of relevance-driven social marketing and advertising software, today announced that it has been selected as an “Excellence in Innovation” award winner in Facebook’s 2015 Innovation Competition. The award program recognizes Facebook Marketing Partners who are solving unique challenges for the brands they serve. This year’s competition specifically focused on vertical marketing solutions, and Brand Networks was honored for its Audience Collision Score technology, a Collision Management tool which builds upon the Facebook API to assess the possible crossover between a brand’s targeted audiences in marketing campaigns.
Brand Networks’ Collision Management tool was designed to help brands identify audience overlap and cut redundant costs when running multiple advertising initiatives at the same time. The tool’s main component, the Audience Collision Score, is an algorithm that compares the similarity of a prospective audience a brand is targeting versus those audiences running concurrently across active Ad Sets. Built into Brand Networks’ Facebook ads solution, the algorithm assesses a score between 0-100 measuring the potential overlap of unique users on Facebook and surfaces the list of Ad Sets that target similar audiences. This tool was specifically designed with retail and consumer packaged good brands in mind, as it prevents subsidiary brands from bidding against one another for similar audiences, as well as retail locations in a specific city or region from bidding against one another for the same foot traffic. The Audience Collision Score helps brands save money and increase the ROI of multiple discrete Facebook marketing campaigns.
